今年的YCT (Youth Chinese Test)考试现在开始报名了，YCT考试不仅是对孩子们汉语水平的认证考试，也是中文学校学生毕业必须满足的条件之一。华社中文学校将组织学生参加2024年3级和4级的YCT纸笔考试。以下是报名链接, 也可以扫描QRCode（见附件）报名。

*报名截止日期 ：2/9/2024 (星期五) 12:00AM(EST)
*报名费：学生免费， 但学校将统一支付考试中心费用（3级$20，4级$25）。如学生报名注册了本次考试，却在考试当天缺席，学生需补交相应的考试费用。
*建议报考年级：CSL学生可报名YCT-3级考试。中文班五、六年级学生可报名参加YCT-4级考试。

*考试时间:　3/16/2024 (星期六) 13:00PM(EST)

Registration for this year's YCT (Youth Chinese Test) is now open. The YCT test is not only a certification test for children's Chinese proficiency, but also one of the conditions that Chinese school students must meet to graduate. Huashe Chinese School will hold the YCT paper-based exams for Level 3 and Level 4 in 2024. Below is the registration link, you can also scan the QRCode (see attachment) to register.

*Registration deadline: 2/9/2024 (Friday) 12:00AM(EST)
*Registration fee: Free for students, but the school will pay the test center ($20/each student for Level 3, $25/each student for Level 4). If a student registers for this exam but is absent on the exam day, the student must pay the corresponding exam fee.
*Recommended grade level students to participate: CSL students can register for the YCT-3 level exam. Students in the fifth and sixth grades of Chinese classes can register to take the YCT-4 level exam.

Dear Chinese School family members,

the admin team of Chinese School has decided NOT to have physical classes this coming Sunday, 07Jan2024, due to the forecasted inclement weather for this weekend. All classes will be given virtually via zoom. Please let the students in your family and your friends know that NO one should physically come to school this coming Sunday, 07Jan2024. 为帮助学生参加 College Board 五月份的AP 中文考试做准备,中文学校鼓励感兴趣的学生参加全美中文学校联合会举办的AP中文复习模拟线上考试。报名工作现在开始。

考试分别在周六（3月2号）及周日（3月3号）各举办一场,学生可任选一场参加。

(1) 报名资格:中文学校现八年级以上（含八年级）学生或中文学校曾就读过的学生

（６）成 绩 单:成绩单将于 3/24/2024 或之前直接电邮给考生及学校报名联络人。

（７）考试程序:考试包括聼、说、读、写四部分。考试内容概括 AP 中文六大主题,考试范围、方式、评分标准等项目,均比照 College Board AP 中文考试办理。

📢12月17号中文学校秋季最后一天教学及活动表📢

12月17号只上第一二节课。没有第三节兴趣课，

🔸10:00am 开始上课。

🔸10:00am-11:30am 两节课连堂上, 中间不休息

🔸11:30am-12:30pm 在学校餐厅举行班级聚餐
学校提供免费水及餐具。

请各班级聚餐完收拾桌子,保持餐厅的清洁卫生

🔸12:30am-3:30pm 在学校大礼堂举办颁奖典礼及新年联欢晚会 。

🎟️联欢会除了孩子们的精彩表演，还有有奖抽奖活动。

📢Fall Semester Last day of School December 17th Schedule 📢

Only the first and second periods will be held on December 17th. There is no third-period class,

🔸The class starts at 10:00 am.

🔸10:00 am-11:30 am Two periods of classes are held consecutively, with no breaks in between

🔸11:30 am-12:30 pm Class lunch will be held in the school cafeteria, The school provides free water and utensils.

Each class must clean the table after lunch.

🔸12:30 am-3:30 pm The award ceremony and New Year’s show will be held in the school auditorium.

🎟️In addition to the wonderful performances by the children, there will also be a raffle with prizes.
