Chinese School Newsletter -10/14/23

(1) On 10/15/23, the Chinese school will conduct a fire drill. It is expected to start at 1:30 p.m. and last for 20-25 minutes. Therefore, the recess between the first and second classes will be canceled. After the drill, students are asked to return to the classroom with the teacher.  The lessons continue until the end of the second period. Please see the attached fire drill steps and the designated evacuation gathering locations marked on the floor plan (Exit A, Exit B, Gym Exit & Outside Cafeteria Exit)
Students and parents must follow the instructions of teachers & staff and evacuate in an orderly manner. Thank you for your cooperation!

(2) On 10/15/23, the teachers of each class will verify the names of the students according to the registration records. If your child has not registered for the course, he will not be allowed to attend the next class. Parents must go to the school administration desk as soon as possible to register for the course.

(3) 10/29/23 is the registration deadline for the Chinese Storytelling Competition. The Chinese storytelling competition will be held at 1:00 p.m. on 11/12/23 in the auditorium. This competition is open to all students in Chinese School. Students who wish to participate please sign up with their Chinese teacher as soon as possible.

(4) On 10/29/23, Chinese school will hold a Halloween parade and Trick or Treat. Adults and children are welcome to come to school wearing Halloween costumes on that day!
